To be truthfully honest, we mostly just walked around. Our wait at The Lady & Son's, which is also known as the famous restaurant owned by none other than queen of southern cuisine herself, Paula Deen, took a waiting time of 3 hours to even see a plate of food. I may now suggest making a reservation ASAP, especially during the summer. We all ended up eating the buffet and yes, we did enjoy it, but I wouldn't wait 3 hours to eat it again. It was more about the experience to cross it off of my bucket list.
After eating, we just took a stroll around the area, enjoying the scenery. I mostly enjoyed the trees and the sunshine, and just the simple things that money can't buy. It was nice to see more than just desert and be with my family for a little while. We also had to stop in the candy store and watch the candy get made, because it's oh so fascinating and I swore I literally could feel my teeth rotting out though because of how much sugar was in the air. LOL. My sweet tooth, can't help but crave chocolate and pralines though. :)
All in all, it was a successful day. Thank y'all for coming along on our Adventure in Savannah. Till later, alligator. ;)
